Com Hem uses SeaChange Adrenalin to support ‘TV everywhere’

Sweden’s largest cable television operator, Com Hem, has selected the SeaChange Adrenalin multi-screen video platform for its new TiVo-based ‘TV everywhere’ service, which it is in the process of rolling out. Com Hem’s new offering will include broadcast TV channels, video-on-demand (VoD), catch-up TV and start-over for Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB)-based TiVo set-top boxes, LAN set-top boxes, smartphones and tablets. Adrenalin is based on an open service-oriented architecture which delivers video to devices across multiple network types. Com Hem will use the Adrenalin video platform to integrate and manage a wide range of third-party components.
