Tata provides IP voice for Liberty

India’s Tata Communications has entered into an IP voice solutions agreement with UPC Wholesale, the B2B unit of US-based multinational cableco Liberty Global. As reported by Capacity Magazine, under the deal Tata will provide access to its IP voice switching platform and support systems, which the Indian firm says will enable UPC to integrate its different voice networks into a single next-generation platform, providing cost savings and improving call quality.
