China Mobile, the world’s largest cellco by subscribers, is mulling investments in five overseas markets, online news portal ZD Net writes. The cellular giant has reportedly invited bids from consulting firms to carry out analysis of the macroeconomic investment climate in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, Portugal and North Korea. China Mobile chairman Wang Jianzhou has previously noted that the company was keen to expand internationally but had been held back by high prices barring entry.
