The Ministry of Economic Development has confirmed that Albright Capital Management has withdrawn from the running for Post and Telecommunications Kosovo (PTK), local news portal SEEbiz reports. The company raised no objections to the bidding procedures but has chosen to invest its money elsewhere, the ministry’s press office noted. Albright had been one of five bidders qualified to take part in the sale of a 75% stake in state-owned incumbent PTK. Turkcell, British Telecom Poland (in partnership with Columbia Capital and ACP Axos Capital), M1 International Limited and Avicena Capital (in partnership with Sofrecom) have also been cleared to take part in the sale and have until 31 January to submit bids.
