Colombia’s Communication Regulation Commission (CRC) has, as part of its agenda for 2013, unveiled ten projects and objectives for the sector for the coming year. The CRC’s goals for 2013 focus primarily on increasing the efficiency of infrastructure construction and use as well as protecting users’ rights. The projects listed by the CRC include the implantation of the Technical Regulation for Telecommunications Internetworking (RITEL) which aims to define the conditions for access and use of the common telecommunications infrastructure in buildings, conducting a study of bundled multi-play offers to detect possible market failures arising from their use and an analysis of minimum contract terms for possible improvements to existing regulations.
