Vodafone Italy has announced that it is extending its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to a further six cities. From 21 December customers in Bari, Genoa, Naples, Turin, Padua and Palermo will be able to connect to the 4G network. The new cities follow Milan and Rome, which have been connected since 30 October, when Vodafone became the first cellco in Italy to inaugurate its LTE network. Vodafone aims to extend the network to 20 cities by March 2013.
