KDDI opens Myanmar operation

The Japanese telco KDDI (au) as opened an office in Myanmar and established a subsidiary in the country, in preparation for the liberalisation of the telecoms markets there. The operator says it plans to serve business customers only, and will be offering communications and IT solutions to the many Japanese enterprises that are looking to benefit from the current wave of growth in the Myanmar economy.
