EE ups LTE data allowances

29 Nov 2012

Everything Everywhere (EE), the first operator in the UK to launch 4G LTE services, has increased the data allowances on its tariffs by around 60%. The original plans offering 2GB, 3GB and 5GB of data per month have been automatically upgraded to 3GB, 5GB and 8GB respectively at no extra cost to the subscriber. In addition, the company has launched a new monthly SIM-only plan offering 15GB data for GBP15.99 (USD25.59) a month. The moves follow criticism from some quarters that the original plans’ data allowances were too restrictive.
