French cellco Bouygues Telecom announced today that it has agreed to sell 2,166 mobile towers to Antin Infrastructure Partners for EUR205 million (USD266 million), according to Reuters. Antin will set up a company called France Pylones Services (FPS) to own and operate the towers as well as to lease capacity to Bouygues and other operators. Bouygues will own 15% of FPS. The deal is expected to raise around EUR185 million for Bouygues, and the company says it will use the funds to invest in its business and pay down debt.
