Oi, NSN report 88Mbps throughput in latest LTE trials

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) and Brazilian telco Oi SA, formed through the restructuring of Telemar Participacoes’ former operating divisions Brasil Telecom, Tele Norte Leste Participacoes, Coari Participacoes and Telemar Norte Leste, have reported an average data throughput of 88Mbps – and peaks of 100Mbps – in their latest trials of 4G technology. BNAmericas reports that the Long Term Evolution (LTE) tests were carried out during telecoms association Telebrasil’s summit last week in Brasilia.
