The planned sale of German cableco PrimaCom by a consortium of its former creditors has reportedly been delayed by around two months due to concerns that some potential buyers need more time to assemble substantive offers, reports Broadband TV News citing Financial Times Deutschland. Amongst the potential suitors for PrimaCom are US-based cable group Liberty Global’s German subsidiary Unitymedia KabelBW, alongside Pepcom Group – with interests in twelve German regional cable network operators – and the country’s former monopoly telco Deutsche Telekom (Telekom Deutschland), which according to local reports has tabled a bid of between EUR250 million and EUR280 million (USD310 million-USD347 million).
