AT&T Mobility has confirmed that it has extended its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to six new markets, namely: Buffalo (New York), Corpus Christi (Texas), Gainesville (Georgia), Burlington and Greensboro-Winston Salem (both North Carolina) and Wichita (Kansas); the latest batch of rollouts mean that the mobile giant now offers 4G in a total of 47 markets, leaving it well adrift of its chief rival Verizon Wireless, which currently offers LTE in 304 locations, encompassing all US states except Alaska.
