Sweden’s Hi3G Access (3) has extended its mobile broadband network coverage in three counties, via expansion of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) coverage, augmented by expanded 900MHz 3G infrastructure to give a wider high speed data footprint. The areas covered by 3’s latest 4G and UMTS-900 rollouts are: Nykoping municipality (including 17 main towns) in Sodermanland county, south-west of Stockholm; Eskilstuna municipality (including seven main towns) in northwestern Sodermanland; Karlshamn municipality (including around twelve main towns) in Blekinge county in the south of Sweden; and Halmstads municipality (including nine main towns) in the southwestern county of Halland.
