GO Mobile doubles speeds to 42Mbps

29 May 2012

The Sunday Times of Malta reports that GO Mobile has doubled mobile broadband speeds to 42Mbps following an upgrade of its HSPA+ network. The company says the move comes as part of a spending programme worth EUR100 million (USD126 million) on improving its network. GO is offering free mobile internet to all pre-paid customers every time they top-up with EUR10 or more, and six months of free mobile internet for those buying a new smartphone worth EUR99 or more.
