Bouygues buys French reseller Darty Telecom

The French operator Bouygues Telecom has acquired 99.9% of domestic telecoms reseller Darty Telecom in a deal worth EUR40 million (USD53 million). Darty Telecom is a division of the Darty electrical retail chain, offering fixed line telephony and internet services to around 300,000 subscribers and mobile resale services to 40,000 users. Darty will continue to sell Bouygues services via its 226 stores across France.
