Telekom's DSL Turbo boost

18 Apr 2012

Slovak Telekom is upgrading ADSL broadband download speeds for users of its ‘Turbo’ packages in June-July this year, increasing the limit to 10Mbps for customers previously with 3.5Mbps and 6Mbps rate caps (‘Turbo 3’), and establishing a new top speed of 20Mbps for subscribers to premium ‘Turbo 4’ plans. Lower-cost ‘Turbo 1’ and ‘Turbo 2’ users will now be able to access maximum speeds of 5Mbps. Upload speeds remain unchanged. In August Slovak Telekom says it will also raise standard internet download caps to 5Mbps for packages which bundle its IPTV service with ADSL.
