Viva hits one million customers

The Kuwaiti cellular operator Viva has announced that it has passed the one million subscriber milestone. The firm, which is backed by Saudi Telecom Company (STC), launched Kuwait’s third mobile network in December 2008, using 2G and 3G technologies and added a 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network at the end of last year.
