MTN Cyprus debuts HSPA+

Cellular operator MTN Cyprus has announced the launch of a HSPA+ network offering peak mobile data speeds of 21Mbps. The cellco says that HSPA+ is currently operational in broad urban areas, covering 40% of the population, and the company is already exploring options to expand further, Telecompaper reports. Among the new products launched to support the new high speed services will be new generation smartphones, portable Wi-Fi devices, and HSPA+ capable USB dongles and routers.
