Kopings Kabel deploys 1Gbps solution from Calix

Kopings Kabel, a local full-service telecoms and TV provider in the central Swedish city of Koping, is using technology solutions supplied by Calix to deliver advanced broadband services with capabilities of up to 1Gbps. The range of fibre and copper access technologies on offer to Koping residents include gigabit passive optical network (GPON), point-to-point gigabit Ethernet (GE) and DSL. Kopings Kabel serves over 10,000 subscribers amongst the 17,000 inhabitants of the city.
