Regulator sets MTRs for trio of French operators

The French telecoms regulator Arcep has submitted its proposed mobile termination rates (MTRs) for three operators to the European Commission (EC) for approval. The trio of operators includes recently launched fourth cellular network operator Free Mobile, plus mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) Omea Telecom and Lycamobile. Telecompaper reports that Arcep has set their voice termination rates at EUR0.024 (USD0.032) per minute until 30 June 2012, then EUR0.016 until the end of 2012, and EUR0.011 for all of 2013.
