Telcel LTE goes commercial next month

Mexican mobile network operator Telcel, a unit of Latin American telecoms giant America Movil (AM), is expected to introduce commercial Long Term Evolution (LTE) services from next month, Excelsior reports. Citing Carlos Garcia Moreno, AM’s director of finance, the report claims that in the first stage of rollout the 4G technology will be available in between 25 to 40 cities, before coverage is extended across the entire country.
