FT commits to USD150 million spend at Orange Dominicana

Orange Dominicana, the France Telecom (FT)-owned operator in the Dominican Republic (DR), is set to spend around USD150 million in 2012 to expand network coverage and improve its existing infrastructure. A report from Business News Americas, which cites local newspaper Dominican Today, says FT’s CEO Stephane Richard remains committed to his company’s operations in the DR. Richard added that FT has invested USD1 billion in Orange Dominicana over the past eleven years.
