Qtel announces domestic reorganisation

Qatar Telecom (Qtel) has begun a corporate restructuring programme with the aims of improving its operational performance and customer services while establishing new revenue streams. Following a year-long review, the group concluded it is in the position to take advantage of its recent international growth by changing the way it manages its Qatari operations. Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al-Thani, CEO of Qtel’s domestic division, announced: ‘The reorganisation process will enable Qtel to focus on core functions that are essential for our future success and sharpen the level of support for customers.’
