Bell launches LTE handsets, expands coverage to Halifax and Belleville

Bell Mobility has expanded its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile broadband network to Halifax in Nova Scotia and Belleville in Ontario, while it has released its first LTE handset, the HTC Raider 4G smartphone. Bell launched the LTE network for laptop users in selected areas of Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph in mid-September 2011, offering mobile data speeds ranging between 12Mbps and 25Mbps.
