10 Oct 2011

Augere Wireless Broadband India has chosen Sweden’s Ericsson for the rollout of a 4G wireless TD-LTE (Time Division Long Term Evolution) broadband network covering the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. According to the pair, the end-to-end contract is the first TD-LTE deal in India. Augere won broadband wireless access (BWA) licences for the two states in mid-2010 and plans to launch BWA services either late this year or in the first quarter of 2012, under the Zoosh brand, according to Cybermedia.
