C&W Bermuda rebranded LinkBermuda

Bermudan incumbent Cable and Wireless (Bermuda) has been renamed LinkBermuda, The Royal Gazette writes. Canada’s EastLink International Holdings, which has acquired C&W’s operations in Bermuda, adds that as part of the revamp C&W eBusiness will be renamed SpheraLink, and Quantum Communications will retain its current name and portfolio of services. Commenting on the rebrand, Ann Petley-Jones, CEO of EastLink International and the LinkBermuda Group, said: ‘We are very excited to be entering this next phase in LinkBermuda’s development. We view these companies as a long-term investment and are committed to play a key role in Bermuda’s economy as a major supplier of communications services. LinkBermuda has a long tradition of investing in its infrastructure and operations, and we are now building on that foundation’.
