Slovakia aims to attract new cellco

The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TUSR) has revealed a plan to issue a 900MHz/1800MHz mobile licence to a new market entrant, Dow Jones Newswires reports. The proposed auction for a fourth cellular concession would be in the interests of raising competition, the regulator said, although it did not provide a timeframe or other details.
