Slovakia to attract new cellco

The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TUSR) has revealed a proposal to reserve a mobile network operating licence with frequencies in the 900MHz/1800MHz bands for a new market entrant. The statement yesterday said that the plan to auction a fourth cellular licence is aimed at boosting competition, although the regulator did not announce a timeline or other details.
