French telco Iliad has posted its results for the first half of 2011, revealing a 2.6% year-on-year gain in revenues to EUR1.04 billion (USD1.5 billion), while EBITDA rose 6.3% to EUR416.4 million. The results were boosted by the company adding 231,000 new customers during the period after the launch of a new set-top box. Iliad offers fixed line voice telephony, broadband internet and TV services under the brand names Free and Alice. The company is expected to launch mobile services within the next six months.
