25 Aug 2011

Gulf Bridge International (GBI) has begun offering 100Gbps connectivity on parts of the Qatar-based operator’s wholly owned submarine cable network. Samih Kawar, GBI’s CTO, claimed an industry first for the operator, announcing: ‘The company has embraced 40G and is looking toward the future by going live with 100G.
