Telecom Argentina looks to boost ADSL take up with bundles

5 Aug 2011

Telecom Argentina’s CEO Franco Bertone has revealed that the company’s strategy going forward is to focus on offering bundled packages including fixed and mobile broadband to boost its ADSL penetration. CommsUpdate reported earlier this week that Telecom Argentina’s number of broadband accesses had risen by 14% year-on-year in the second quarter to 30 June 2011 to reach 1.457 million. Bertone said this equated to broadband service penetration of 35% in the local market. ‘Broadband and data services are key to our revenue growth,’ he told investors.
