Level 3 connects Slovenia and Croatia to Tier 1 network

29 Jun 2011

Level 3 has added points of presence (PoPs) in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia, giving direct access to the carrier’s global network and portfolio of IP-based communications. The new PoPs form part of Level 3’s strategy of deepening its network in Eastern Europe, which it views as a growth region for internet traffic. Level 3 will now deliver a wider range of services to Croatian and Slovenian customers, including Ethernet private line and wavelength transport services, high speed Internet Protocol, direct internet access and virtual private network (VPN), as well as content and media delivery services. With the addition of Slovenia and Croatia to the list of countries directly connected to its network, Level 3 now spans more than 20 European nations and offers connectivity in 50 markets.
