The highest court in Slovakia has annulled two fines worth a combined EUR31.8 million (USD45.5 million) levied by the country’s competition watchdog on incumbent telco Slovak Telekom for abusing its dominant market position. Quoting newswire CTK, Bloomberg reports that the court ruled against the fines for ‘procedural reasons’ and did not assess the market activities of the operator, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
