Telkom Indonesia picks Clarity for broadband OSS upgrade

23 Jun 2011

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has extended its working relationship with unified solutions provider Clarity to support the next phase of its broadband rollout – the migration to a flexible and unified operational support system (OSS). To date, Telkom has unified its switching, transmission, multimedia, fixed-wireless and Metro-E domains onto the Clarity OSS solution. The latest upgrade for broadband access continues the consolidation of Telkom’s networks onto one management platform and includes inventory management, discovery and reconciliation, service configuration and activation, auto-provisioning and trouble ticketing. Telkom says the simplified Clarity OSS supports its entire NGN topology, including DSLAM, MSAN, WiMAX and GPON platforms.
