ZTE, Nucleus Connect team up for BSS/OSS system on Singapore’s NGN

Chinese equipment maker ZTE Corporation is teaming up with Nucleus Connect, the Operating Company (OpCo) of the city-state’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN), to build the Business Support System (BSS) and Operational Support System (OSS) platforms needed to allow Nucleus Connect to support end-to-end services such as business operations, billing, fault management, network management and maintenance. ZTE’s BSS/OSS solution will provide Nucleus Connect with fast and reliable service provisioning, multi-mode billing and effective network operation. In addition, ZTE’s system will support a range of new services being offered under the company’s wholesale bandwidth business, and help Nucleus Connect run its business operations efficiently and effectively.
