Mirs signs contract with NSN

Israeli cellco Mirs Communications has inked a deal with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to supply network infrastructure worth ILS200 million (USD59 million) over three years. The contract comes after Mirs paid ILS705 million for a 3G concession in April. At the end of March, subscribers on Mirs’s iDEN network accounted for just 4.7% of Israel’s overall wireless market.
