The Japan Times writes that WiMAX start-up UQ Communications has inked a deal to work with Tokyo’s two metropolitan subway operators – government-owned Tokyo Metropolitan and the privately run firm Tokyo Metro Co – to install wireless broadband equipment throughout the capital’s entire subway network.
