Qtel’s trial consumers get 100Mbps fibre broadband speed

Qatar Telecom (Qtel) has begun providing residential trial users with direct fibre broadband connection speeds of up to 100Mbps, the fastest for consumers in the country, reports local newspaper The Peninsula. Commercial launches throughout Doha and other urban areas are set to begin in the second half of this year.
