Polish daily newspaper Puls Biznesu has revealed that neither Polkomtel nor UPC will pursue the acquisition of local telco Telefonia Dialog any further. The decision leaves just three companies and a private equity fund left in the running: offers have been made by Netia, Hawe and MNI as well as from the private equity group Bridgepoint. Due diligence starts on Friday, a process which is expected to last five weeks.
