Telkom allocates IDR1 trillion; targets Cambodian acquisition

Indonesian communications group Telkom has revealed it has allocated IDR1 trillion (USD114 million) to acquire other operators in 2011. The Jakarta Post quotes Telkom director Rinaldi Firmansyah as saying that one of the company’s targets is a Cambodian operator. Despite refusing to reveal the name of the company, the executive indicated that Telkom was competing with three other firms to secure the deal.
