Polish telecoms operator Netia has announced its results for the year ended 31 December 2010, showing a 4% year-on-year increase in revenues to PLN1.57 billion (USD334.7 million). Adjusted EBITDA was PLN359.5 million, an increase of 18% y-o-y, while operating income was PLN285.7 million, reflecting group-wide cost reductions, synergies from the acquisition of Tele2 Polska and an increasing share of unbundled local loop users. Net profit for the year was PLN263.9 million (PLN55.6 million when excluding one-off items). Netia’s broadband customer base reached 690,247 at the end of 2010, to give in a market share of 11.5%. Voice subscribers (including own network, WLR and LLU customers) reached 1.23 million, up 1%.
