Vodafone Fiji extends 3G footprint in resort areas

Vodafone Fiji has reportedly extended its third-generation mobile network coverage along the Coral Coast and in the Yasawa group of islands, thanks to the activation 3G base stations at Warwick and Naviti resorts, and on Tavewa Island. Following the upgrade, both resorts on the Coral Coast are covered as well as the Queen’s Highway (running from the resort toward the Beach House, and Maui Bay) and the Queen’s Highway towards Korolevu. Meanwhile, the cellco’s 3G network upgrade in the Yasawa group involve the islands of Nacula, Tavewa, Matacawa Levu, Turtle Island, Nanuya Levu and Nanuya Lailai.
