Swedish triple-play operator Com Hem has begun upgrading its cable network to enable broadband access speeds of up to 200Mbps, reports Broadband TV News. The cableco said that 1.4 million households within its footprint would gain access to the service over this summer, with 400,000 households to be covered in an initial phase. A 200Mbps connection will be charged at SEK499 (USD77) per month on a twelve-month contract.
