SFR signs HSPA+ enhancement deal with NSN

French cellco SFR has inked an agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to build extra capacity in its existing 3G network and to support improved HSPA+ services. The two companies also gave a live preview of HSPA+ operating at 42Mbps; SFR plans to start rolling out the upgrade from the beginning of 2011. No financial details were disclosed.
