Emirates International goes Forth and multiplies stake to 40%

8 Dec 2010

Greek alternative telco ForthNet’s controlling shareholder, Emirates International Telecommunications (EIT), has upped its stake via the stock exchange to increase its voting rights in the company from 36.91% to 40.07%. EIT holds its stake via Cypriot-registered holding company Forgendo, itself owned 50/50 between EIT (Malta) and the latter’s majority-owned Maltese telco GO (formerly Maltacom). EIT is itself a joint venture of Tecom Investments and Dubai Investment Group, both part of the Dubai Holding group.
