Clarity to provide infrastructure management solution for Vodafone Egypt

8 Dec 2010

Vodafone Egypt, Egypt’s second largest mobile network operator by subscribers, has announced that it has signed a deal with Australian solutions providers Clarity, a subsidiary of Powerlan, for the deployment of its infrastructure management solution. Under the terms of the deal, Clarity’s solution is expected to automate and coordinate key finance, network and service management processes, which in turn Vodafone has said will allow it to ‘dramatically transform its network vendor selection processes, track rollout against supplier performance agreements and see a clear overview of asset location, availability and capacity.’ Commenting on the deal, Mohamed Henna, chief technology officer at Vodafone Egypt, said: ‘Clarity’s solution will ensure that we are managing our network infrastructure in the most efficient way possible – helping us to deliver the capacity and capabilities that are essential to our customers.’
