Russia’s Alltech Telecom has signed an agreement with the Cambodian government to deploy the country’s first Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, TelecomPaper reports, citing Russian newspaper Kommersant. The company plans to invest up to USD100 million in the rollout of the technology with local partners, to be selected by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Cambodia (MPTC). Alltech, a holding company for assets ranging from oil production to real estate, is controlled by Russian investors Dmitry Bosov and Yevgeny Roitman.
