4 Nov 2010

Armenian fixed and mobile operator ArmenTel has doubled bandwidth for its Hi Line 2048 broadband subscribers from 512kbps to 1024kbps, PanArmenian.Net reports the company as saying. The initiative has been possible thanks to improvements in the telco’s backbone network its CEO Igor Klimko said. Hi Line users will not be charged for the upgrade, which will be carried out in a phased process. ArmenTel’s ADSL-based service is currently available in 38 cities across the country.
