Ukrtelecom’s 3Q revenues slide 3.2% q-o-q, but flat y-o-y

Ukraine’s dominant fixed line operator Ukrtelecom has posted net losses of UAH 110.6 million (USD13.8 million) in the third quarter of 2010, compared to a net profit of UAH84 million in April–June. Net revenues fell by 3.2% quarter-on-quarter in July-September to UAH1.67 billion, although the total remained virtually flat year-on-year (-0.1%). The wireline, broadband and 3G mobile operator’s three-month EBITDA margin declined to 20.0% versus 25.5% in 2Q10 and 31.5% in 3Q09.
