Telekom Slovenije blocks T-2 bank accounts

Slovenian former monopoly operator Telekom Slovenije has revealed that it has secured court injunctions blocking bank accounts belonging to alternative telco T-2, reports Telecompaper. Over EUR 1.2 million (USD1.67 million) in the accounts is blocked, pending the outcome of cases over outstanding payments due by T-2. Telekom Slovenije claims the alternative operator owes it EUR12.6 million, including EUR11.6 million for services, EUR8.2 million subject to a lawsuit and EUR1.0 million in current receivables. Last month CommsUpdate reported that Telekom Slovenije filed a motion for bankruptcy of T-2 at the Municipal Court in Maribor.
